THE ARTIST BEHIND THE MUSIC
Nubian Divine.
Rooted in purpose.
A life of music, faith and service.
Nubian Divine is the artistic voice of Empress Jackiya Dionea King—a gospel recording artist, songwriter, entrepreneur and humanitarian whose work is rooted in faith, identity and purpose.
With more than twenty years in gospel music, she creates songs that move through gospel, soul, hip-hop and inspirational sounds. Her recordings explore love, spiritual growth, resilience and her relationship with God, offering listeners moments of reflection, encouragement and connection.
As founder of Quest For Identity Records, she brings an independent vision to her musical journey, alongside publishing and production through Mcjala Entertainment. Her creative story also includes collaborations with her daughter Jordynn, weaving family and the next generation into her work.
Beyond music, Jackiya founded Little Promises Ministries and EXODUXZ. Her international journey has taken her through Jamaica, Africa, Hong Kong, mainland China, Budapest, Greece, Seoul in South Korea, across America and many more places. These experiences are part of the life she brings to her music and her work, while her coaching, business and relocation services help others pursue new beginnings.
Whether in a recording studio, on a stage or serving a community, Nubian Divine brings the same calling: to uplift people through her voice, her faith and her life’s work.
